Hear From the Expert - Dr. Patrick Gavin

Dr Gavin works with the Iams Pet Imaging Centers as the Chief Scientific Officer. He oversees the radiology service of the Centers along with six other Boarded Radiologists.

Dr Gavin received his veterinary degree from Washington State University in 1971. He completed his residency in radiology at Colorado State University in 1980. Dr. Gavin has been at WSU for the last 22 years where he is a professor and fomer chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences. He is a diplomate of the American College of Veterniary Radiologists and began his work in MRI in 1986.
