Acupuncture: Completed the IVIS Veterinary Acupuncture Course
Faculty Positions: Veterinary Programs at The Ohio State University and Louisiana State University
Lectures/Publications: Dr. Smith has published in several veterinary journals and textbooks. She is a lecturer for many local and national veterinary associations, veterinary technician groups, and individual veterinary practices.
Special interests: Anesthesia for diagnostic imaging and patients with neurological disease; vital signs monitoring and outpatient anesthesia. Teaching anesthetic principals and vital signs monitoring to anyone who will listen.
Pets: Bill, the black Laborador/Great Dane combo, and Bo, the German Shepard Dog. Four black cats; Rascal, Eddie, Baker and Fo’Shizzle.
Personal Facts: Moved to Northern Virginia six years ago from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Enjoys exploring the area and listening to music with her son. Other interests include gardening and motorcycle riding.

Special Interests: Advancing the application of magnetic resonance technology in veterinary patients and increasing MRI safety awareness.
Personal Facts: Relocated to Northern Virginia from Waxhaw, NC, two years ago. Dennis is a paintball enthusiast who enjoys exploring the area with his daughter and taking her fishing, bicycling, and camping.
